Mississauga Kids Anne Green and I enjoyed a delicious lunch at the Waterfronts Media Launch party on Monday June 7, which was sponsored by Aielli’s Ristorante and La Villa Bakery. It was a wonderful treat to be able to eat lunch with another adult and not my six children! After lunch we received a sneak peak of the Festivals exciting roster of entertainment and activities they have lined up, and I personally cannot wait to check it out! The Weekend Music Fest will feature some great music from 6pm – 12am on both Friday and Saturday with special performances each night at 9:30pm. Performing Friday night is Bedouin Soundclash and on Saturday night Jim Cuddy will perform. Sunday’s music fest is from 11am-7pm.
Be sure to look out for performances by Jake Robertson and Victoria Kern two Mississauga Future Star Finals at 11am. I had the pleasure of hearing them both at the media launch and they are both fabulous musicians and singers! 4:30pm holds the Jersey Nights performing a tribute to Frankie Valli & the four seasons. Be sure to bring your blankets and chairs!

You can catch them at Busker Square from between 11:00am – 6:00pm Saturday and Sunday.
