Mississauga's outdoor pools and Splash Pads, now called spray pads by the city, began opening on Sunday June 5th!  Just in time for some of the seasons hottest weather yet! Bring your kids to one of Mississauga’s numerous splash pads this season and have some wet and refreshing fun! Can you think of a better way to spend free time with the kids on a hot, sunny day?

Splash pads are a great fun way to spend the day with the kids. Since splash pads, or spray pads as the city is now calling them, have no standing water, the risk of a drowning accident occurring is at a minimum which makes this kids’ activity a great safe choice.

In Mississauga, splash/spray pads are open to all and are free of charge. Mississauga splash pads are generally open from 9 am to 8:30 pm, seven days a week from June to mid-September, weather dependent. Residents are encouraged to call before visiting any of the locations listed below. The number to call for information is 3-1-1 or 905-615-4311 if outside city limits.

If you are going to enjoy this fabulous outdoors activity please be prepared. Don't forget the Sunscreen, drinks to keep them hydrated, towels and an extra change of clothes for the ride home.
