The Canada’s Professional School of Music & Arts has expanded to offer more diverse programs and convenient class times to the residents of North Mississauga. According to school director Elena Gnenna, the school has grown faster then anticipated since opening in 2003.The fast growth is due to a dedication to providing convenient, top quality instruction to its students. Last year school opened second location in Oakville. Every year the school has added more members to its teaching staff and has upgraded facilities by doing such things as purchasing new pianos, and regularly renovation the facilities. In September the school will start to offer dance classes for all ages.
New Staff The CP School of Music & Arts has added new teachers to its staff for the fall. The school currently has over 35 staff members. All of the music teachers hold a university degree. The music school handles everything from 3 year beginners to extremely advances students. Due to the members of teachers on staff, the students are matched with teachers that best meet their need and who relate well to them. Large variety of Music programs A large diversity of instruments is taught from the typical piano, guitar, voice, violin to drums and computer piano. Although a large number of students choose to take the classical Royal Conservatory system, the school also has a very large number of students that study pop, jazz or contemporary music. The main focus in on helping students gain the skills they need to enjoy music long after music lessons are over. Variety of programs for kids under 7 years old The program includes: Kindermusik – world leading music and movement program for babies, toddlers, preschoolers. Your toddler works off steam by leaping like a deer, hopping like a frog, or unfolding from the floor like a flower growing in Toddler Dance class. Kinder dance class introduces basic dance concepts that serve as a foundation for all dance styles. As well school offers kids fitness, Kids Art and Song & Dance programs. NEW !!! Dance programs The school’s dance programs offer everything from ballet, hip-hop and jazz classes to tap dance. One of the most important features of a dance studio in the type of flooring used. The school uses special sprung floor that absorb the impact of dancing and help keep the teachers and students energized. It is also a great form on injury avoidance. The school will continuing to offer its popular “Drawing Made Easy” course for kids who want to learn to draw.
