 There are crocuses popping up in the garden and robins bouncing around the lawn looking for material to build their nests. Kids are beginning to dig out their bikes (now too small for them) from the garage. Driveways are once again decorated with brightly colored chalk drawings and games. Spring is here and Easter is around the corner. There are some really fun Easter activities planned in Mississauga!On Wednesday April 20th the Easter Bunny will be hiding lots of eggs at Taima Zone. Come and have fun and helping to find all the eggs!- The best of all: there will be no children crying, all of them will go home with a goodie bag* regardless the number of eggs they find. There will be “special eggs” with special gifts for the ones who find them. Children under 3 years of age will have their own special room set ready for all the fun. There will also be some sweet snacks for Parents and Kids! Egg Hunts: 11:00 am & 4:00 pm. Admission: $10.00 per child / $8.00 Siblings / $5.00 Under 2 years of age . On Saturday April 23rd from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm Creative Kids invites you to bring in the kids for an afternoon of fun with Easter crafts and an Easter Egg Hunt. Admission is FREE. Teddy Bear Bunnies will be available to stuff and to take home for a special price of $15 plus HST only during this event. (Regular price is $20 plus HST.) It is FREE to the community for all kids age 2-13. Your kids will have a chance to hop into our homemade INDOOR egg hunt patch to find 1000’s of little plastic eggs filled with goodies. The morning of festivities includes the egg hunt, a craft and/or games, and a storybook reading about the real message of Easter. All candy is peanut/nut-free. You won’t want your children to miss this great opportunity! Cross of Life Church meets at Lisgar Middle School, 6755 Lisgar Drive, Mississauga. Registration starts at 9:00am follwed by the Egg Hunt and festivities at 9:30am. Everything including coffee for Mom and Dad is provided.
